Practice Exams
Practice exams let engineering students simulate real test conditions by actively retrieving and applying knowledge—this “testing effect” enhances long-term retention and deep understanding better than passive review. They also pinpoint knowledge gaps, sharpen pacing and time‑management skills under pressure, and build familiarity with exam formats—helping to ease anxiety and foster confidence on test day.

Peer Assisted Learning (PAL)
Led by peer leaders, PAL sessions will focus on collaborative group activities designed to help students better understand the material on a weekly basis.

Study Groups
Study groups help engineering students unravel complex topics faster through group discussion and peer explanation, which boosts understanding beyond solo study.

Study groups with focused review questions are offered a week before each midterm exam and prior to the instructor's review sessions.
Quick Bites
Once a month, the Academic Success Team invites you to join us for breakfast in the Engineering Center lobby—it's a casual, friendly drop-in where you can grab a bite while exploring academic support, tutoring options, and useful study strategies.

Engineering Connections
Academic Success Services are offered in CEAS students’ residence halls at Williams Village and include the Academic Help Room, practice exams, and study groups.

Dates: Sundays - Thursdays
Teaching staff and tutors are available in Will Vill to assist in your applied math homework and questions! The Academic Help Room is open to any student enrolled in APPM courses!
Engineering Fellows
The Engineering Fellows are a dedicated group of academically accomplished, service‑minded students from the College committed to nurturing academic excellence. Fellows support their peers through academic content support, mentoring, and workshops.
ACADEMIC COACHING
CEAS offers free, individualized Professional and Peer Academic Coaching-both in-person and online-where academic coaches build trusting relationships to help students enhance self-awareness, develop academic skills and habits, and create action plans that boost performance in a collaborative and ongoing process.
It is nice to know I have someone I can ask for help. They helped me get in touch with groups that study and other events to help with academic support.
