Secure Compute at CU
Secure computing standards set the basic rules for all university-owned computers and servers. CU Boulder uses these standards to protect university data and make our technology systems safer. These rules help the campus deal with special security challenges, support hybrid teaching and work, protect computers, and reduce the risk of losing important ideas or information.
All CMDI computers and devices that connect to the campus network must comply with the Secure Compute standards or risk being barred from that network connection.
This includes all computers and network devices funded by any campus source including research, gift and grant accounts.
