Summer Night Jam

"I made this piece to capture the joy the juggling community has brought me. To capture all the times I’ve spent the afternoon juggling until the sun sets or watching my friends' performances to see all their practice finally pay off into a wonderful dance of objects moving through the air. Juggling provides a community of so many unique people and skills, and these differences are what bring the community together. I often juggle near the creek, and the sound of the water combined with the rhythmic flow of juggling is so serene. And in the right conditions, it becomes so easy to forget about all the stresses in my life and truly feel free."

I love learning new skills, and for the past few years, I’ve been teaching myself how to draw and paint, and I’m improving every day. I also like juggling, unicycling, playing Tetris and moshing at local punk shows. I’m often seen unicycling around campus and juggling in local parks and fields.Ìý
