“Just as painters of l’impressionnisme aimed to capture fleeting moments and the ever so changing earthly landscapes, I aim to capture the inner landscapes of my mind. In a dreamlike state I ponder about my passions, experiences and hopes. It is said that emotion creates motion as personified rabbits manifest from my inward thoughts, whimsically and playfully circling above. Each rabbit represents a characteristic of myself and my aspirations that motivate and make me who I am in this present moment. Through this piece, I explore movement not in a physical sense, but through a transformative inward experience and mindfulness."

Katie Li grew up in Aurora, CO and is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in psychology. She enjoys combining creative works with underlying themes of wellness and mindfulness. Her passion for art started from a very young age, recalling that her childhood crayon drawings under the kitchen table have now become a faded green.Ìý
