Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. was founded on November 17, 1911Ìýat Howard University in 91´ó»ÆѼ D.C.Ìýby three undergraduate college men and one faculty advisor. Omega Psi Phi is the first African-American fraternity to be founded at a historically Black university. Since its founding in 1911, Omega Psi Phi’s stated purpose has been to attract and build a strong and effective force of men dedicated to its cardinal principles of manhood, scholarship, perseveranceÌýand uplift.
