Sean is a Mechanical Engineering PhD Student studying the air quality impacts of prescribed burning and the risk-risk tradeoffs associated with prescribed burning and wildfires. Sean received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2019. He worked as an Integration and Test Engineer for three years, building and launching spacecraft bringing supplies to the International Space Station before pursuing graduate studies. He co-developed and co-teaches a Climate Action Planning class which teaches students how to develop climate action plans and GHG reduction strategies for businesses and institutions using the CU Boulder campus as a case study.
