Rick Vargo
Rick is currently a Senior Executive Advisor at Singlife, an insurance and financial services company based in Singapore, where he has been instrumental in shaping the company's corporate culture, core values, and executive development programs. He is also Chairman of its subsidiary, Singlife Philippines, based in Manila. Prior to his current role, he spent more than 30 years in various senior management roles in Retail Banking, Insurance, and Financial Services in Asia, including his first 19 years with John Hancock Financial Services in the US and Asia. He has been involved in numerous business transformations, mergers, acquisitions, and management initiatives throughout his career.
In 2020, he founded Vargo Transformation Network, a leadership transformation and executive coaching firm, and is currently an advisor to Renaxis Collective, a unique Executive Coaching organization focused on bespoke solutions incorporating Eastern philosophy and Western practice. A lifelong fitness, wellness enthusiast and former triathlete, Rick enjoys golf, jogging, biking, and many other outdoor activities. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Colorado, is an ICF-certified Executive Coach, and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Active in charity, he is a former Trustee of the Masonic Charitable Trust in Singapore and supports several charities, including Room to Read and Schools of Hope in Thailand. Rick splits his time between Singapore and Park City, Utah, and is married with two grown children.
