Kate Goldfarb Receives CARTSS Faculty Research Grant & CHA Small Grant

Professor Kate Goldfarb has been awarded a CARTSS Faculty Research Grant to support her upcoming sabbatical project, "Future of Japanese State Care." The funding will facilitate her ongoing research into the evolving systems of social welfare and institutional care in Japan.
Professor Goldfarb was also awarded a Center for Humanities and the Arts (CHA) Small Grant. The grant will provide critical funding for the project, "Launching the Marshall Fire Story Project Archive: A Collaboration with the Louisville Historical Museum." This initiative is a meaningful collaboration aimed at preserving the lived experiences of those affected by the Marshall Fire.
